The last several weeks of work have left me drained and pissy and in a generally bad place, but it was nothing a little Texas couldn't fix. I'm calling it the "Ding Dong the Auditors Are Gone World Tour." Sixty hours and 1,569 motorcycle miles through Oklahoma and Texas. Stops included:
- Big Texan Steak Ranch | Amarillo, TX
- Tripp's Harley-Davidson | Amarillo, TX
- Palo Duro Canyon State Park | Canyon, TX
- Wild West Harley-Davidson | Lubbock, TX
- Buddy Holly Center | Lubbock, TX
- Big Boy's BBQ | Sweetwater, TX
- National WASP Museum | Sweetwater, TX
- Luckenbach General Store & Dancehall | near Fredericksburg, TX
- Pink Pistol Texas | Lindale, TX
- Petty's Steak & Catfish | Lindale, TX
We covered a lot in a little amount of time! Chris calculated that we averaged 26 mph even while sleeping. We finished watching
Friday Night Lights (Texas forever!) last week so I was hoping for an extra day to tour some of the filming locations and see some friends in Austin, but I just couldn't get away earlier. Hope to do that excursion soon!
